Class of 1963

(A note to Brian V. Brunner '64 dated 3/29/2000) Yes, I remember most of my classmates. Somewhere I have a picture of you behind, what was "Friendly Hall", cutting up after spending the night behind the barracks. Those were some of the better days. As I remember you and Phil Potts '63 were both there.
After LWMA I went to college half of a year. Someone shot President Kennedy in the middle of my Business Administration Class so I ran out and joined the USMC and thought I could right the world. Lived in Spain for two years and thought that was going to be the life for me.
Then I went to another foreign land (Viet Nam) and got shot twice. John Wayne was a big liar. It hurt like Hell. They offered me E 5 to stay, but I had these thoughts about being hit a third time. Came back to U.S. and after about a year of getting my head ironed out I joined the Vestavia Hills, AL. Fire Dept. Spent 26 years running into burning buildings and making rescues. Was Best Paramedic in AL once and runner-up twice more.
Now I live in Crane Hill, AL. My second wife is a nationally known artist, Donna Peters, and we work full time creating, selling and distributing her Limited Edition Prints.
